Help!!!
it seems that the "powers and principalities" have managed to throw a spanner in the works. I'm unable to access my wiblog. It seems to bring me to the dashbord for Dave's blog but will not allow me to access anything other than my profile - not they'd I'd want to change Dave's site

I briefly thought I'd been given new and exciting powers but no :(

Hmm I have a piece of gum that I have chewed to exactly the right consistency. I'll just put it on my screen... ah! All fixed! Everyone chew some gum, then stick it on the dashboard where it says "Wibsite" instead of your name.

What's particularly disappointing is that it's Dave's dashboard but without the facility to make new posts. Now THAT could have been fun!

Phew! I thought my computer ineptitude had just hit new heights... and then I thought it was a bit odd that no one had blogged for a whole day. I tried tricking the system into thinking I was cleverer than it is... but I'm afraid it won (unsurprisingly). (I think I may have tried Yay's trick but I'm not sure now...)
I haven't got any chewing gum (it does dreadful things to my digestion system) so I guess you'll all just have to wait for my pearls of wisdom ;-)

Gah, I'm really really REALLY sorry. I don't know how it happened, but the bit of string that ties each of you to your blogs has come unravelled. I've tied some of the ends up so a few of you will be back to normal, but the rest will have to wait for a day or two I'm afraid.
I don't have a clue how this happened, but it may be something to do with the minor upgrade I performed on Friday night. If so then it's a Very Bad Show.
Anyway, I'm on the case...

Right, the vast majority of people will be back up and running. If you still can't get into your blog please let me know here, or by email, and I'll try to sort it out.

I have, however, lost my tab to edit the html (as opposed to the wysisyg editor) and I wanted to use it. Is that related to your pieces of string, or is that another problem?

Hmmm. I hadn't noticed before, but now you come to mention it, the two tabs on the top right of the 'compose post' screen (text and html, IIRC) have disappeared. I've still managed to post photos using code from flickr, but am not sure if this lack of tab business happened before or after the last time I posted photos.
(by the way, I posted on the newsroom blog about my zero stats as well, but am not sure if it's been seen by the head honchos, so thought I'd mention it here too).
